New Leuva Patidar Samaj (LPS) of Bolton is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information. Your information provided will be used by the Samaj to: process your application form, contact you, conduct analysis to identify ongoing needs of members, provide you with updated information and activities conducted by the Samaj. The Samaj may disclose personal information which you have provided to various committee members for the purpose of the above. You have the right to access any personal information which the Samaj holds about you. You may also request the correction of information which is inaccurate by contacting any of the Samaj committee members.

Subject: Data Protection Act 2018 (GDPR) Publication of Photographs/Media files on New LPS Social Media Platform & LPS Website.

New LPS Bolton is committed to protecting all membership data held in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 (GDPR). This means that Data Protection Laws must be observed and this is important in order that New LPS are not held liable for any misuse as a consequence. New LPS Bolton will, with immediate effect, and in accordance with GDPR comply with the following:

1. Prior to any photographs/media files being posted on the New LPS platforms, written consent must be obtained from those appearing in such files. This is particularly important for anyone under the age of 16 years where parental consent will be required.
2. This consent is the responsibility of the person wishing to post the files. The consent together with the files will be authorised by a member of the Executive committee. Any files not meeting this criteria will be rejected.
3. A copy of this consent will be held by New LPS Bolton. Verbal consent will not be accepted.
4. New LPS Bolton accepts no liability for any misuse of such material by any persons thereafter, eg: re sharing of such material on a different platform once it has been posted on the New LPS platform.
